The bedroom is thoughtfully equipped with a luggage rack, night stands and closet storage if needed. A second bedroom offers a queen bed, dresser and kids play area. The bathroom has an accessible shower with grab bars. Through the bathroom is a quite private office. The open kitchen and living room space create an inviting atmosphere for gatherings and shared moments. A farmhouse dining table set for 6 is perfect for anything from board games to BBQ. For additional sleeping space, the sofa converts to a queen size bed. Tastefully designed, it's a seamless blend of style and functionality. Adjacent to the master bedroom there’s a laundry room. Whether you're seeking a family getaway or a peaceful solo retreat, this farmhouse is your haven for convenience and relaxation.

Other Details to Note

Shared Spaces Gate: The farmhouse is at the end of a friendly private road. Occasionally a Rest Haven Rd neighbor will need to park in front of the house to visit her elderly parents that reside next door through the fence gate. Chicken Coop: The coop is shared with the cottage next door. There is separate gates from each side for guests to visit the hens.

Great stay, very clean. Lots of extras and helpful items. The manual had a lot of useful info that you might need to know about beforehand (property is on well water, but they provide some bottled water, etc )

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Troy & Inna’s. The little farmhouse was peaceful, clean, and relaxing. It was well stocked. I loved all the different levels of lighting and small touches that made it feel more like “home.” Location was great for restaurants. Great yard if you have children. My teen enjoyed playing corn hole and visiting the chickens. We definitely plan to return if we make it back to Ohio.

My family and I felt in love with this place because it was so beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. One night we went out and when we got back the door was locked because one of us locked it by accident and the host quickly responded and helped us get inside. The kitchen was very clean and large. Thank you so much for allowing us to extend our stay for couple days at the last minute! We definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the city.

The house we set up beautifully with everything we needed! Full kitchen with everything I needed to bake and cook for my family. Absolutely loved the little playroom and the acreage was absolutely wonderful for the little ones to explore!

Troy & Inna were some of the best hosts I’ve had the pleasure of renting from, as they were very accommodating and communicative. Home was beautiful, and sat on a nice, somewhat secluded plot of land. Coming from Texas for work, it was the ideal place to settle down from after my shift. Highly recommend them.

Absolutely fabulous stay. Hosts are responsive, friendly, and helpful. Kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Couch and beds are extremely comfortable. Water pressure is great, and shower has safety bars for accessibility. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

Rest Haven Farmhouse was a pleasant getaway for our family. It's a 100 year old farmhouse that has been completely redone and updated. It's on a country road surrounded by neighborhoods so we felt both secure and private. The house was very clean and well-lit, and the kitchen was well-supplied with small appliances and cookware. She had cozy throw blankets for us in the living room. The smaller bedroom has a walk-in closet that has been turned into a playroom with a kitchen with a lot of "foods" to play with that delighted my 2 year old granddaughter. We also enjoyed going to visit the chickens, feed them mealworms and collect a few eggs. Inna was a very responsive hostess, and replied quickly to my messages. I asked about using the firepit and some other things, and the next morning she dropped off firewood and marshmallow roasting sticks for us to use! It was a nice spot for our "in-town" mini vacation to see the Air Force Museum!

The farmhouse sits at the end of a private gravel road on 3 acres. As you slowly make your way down, release your cares and prepare to relax at this secluded hideaway. Please keep speed low out of respect for the neighbors and excess dust. Also be cautious of uneven gravel in some areas. The farmhouse driveway is at the end of the road at the loop. There is plenty of parking space on the driveway.
